Flaky puff pastry wrapped around a warm, spiced apple filling makes these buns a delightful treat. Drizzled with honey for extra sweetness, they’re perfect fresh out of the oven.

- 4 Pirus apples diced
- 500 g Puff pastry yeast-based, butter-infused
- 1 teaspoon Ground cinnamon
- Honey Floral acacia, to taste
- 5 tablespoons Demerara cane sugar
- 1 tablespoon Corn starch slightly less
- 1 Egg yolk for brushing
Combine diced apples, sugar, and cinnamon in a saucepan; simmer until sugar melts.
Stir in cornstarch dissolved in water; cook until thickened. Let cool.
Roll out pastry and cut into circles.
Place filling in center, top with another round, and seal edges.
Brush tops with egg yolk, sprinkle with sugar.
Bake at 175°C (convection) or 180°C (non-convection) for 15–20 minutes until golden.
