This easy Beef and Broccoli Stir Fry tastes just like your favorite takeout, but better! Thin slices of tender flank steak are seared and tossed with crisp-tender broccoli in a savory, slightly sweet sesame soy sauce. Serve it over rice for a quick, satisfying dinner.

Beef and Broccoli
- 1 lb flank steak thinly sliced
- 2 Tbsp olive oil divided
- 1 lb broccoli about 6 cups florets
- 2 tsp sesame seeds optional for garnish
Stir Fry Sauce
- 1 tsp grated ginger
- 2 tsp grated garlic
- 1/2 cup hot water
- 6 Tbsp low sodium soy sauce
- 3 Tbsp packed light brown sugar
- 1 1/2 Tbsp cornstarch
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 2 Tbsp sesame oil
Start cooking rice. Freeze beef 30 minutes, then slice thinly.
In a bowl, whisk together all stir fry sauce ingredients.
Heat 1 Tbsp oil in a skillet. Add broccoli, sauté 4-5 min, then remove.
Add 1 Tbsp oil and cook beef 2 min per side until browned.
