- 2 large chicken breasts
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs beaten
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1 1/2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- Olive oil for frying
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil for garnish
Preheat oven to 425°F (218°C). Slice and pound chicken evenly.
Set up dredging stations: flour, eggs, and breadcrumb-parmesan mixture.
Bread the chicken: flour → egg → breadcrumbs.
Fry until golden on both sides.
Spread marinara in a baking dish, add chicken, top with more sauce and cheese.
