- 1 lb 450g boneless chicken thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 cup plain yogurt
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 large onion finely chopped
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger grated
- 1 tablespoon garam masala
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon turmeric
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 can 14 oz diced tomatoes
- ½ cup heavy cream
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh coriander for garnish
Marinate chicken in yogurt for at least 30 minutes (or overnight).
Heat oil, sauté onion until golden.
Add garlic, ginger, and spices; cook 2 minutes.
Stir in tomatoes; simmer for 10 minutes.
Add chicken and marinade. Cook 10–15 minutes until chicken is cooked.
Stir in cream and simmer until thickened.
