Ingredients
  

Dry Ingredients:

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3 Tbsp sugar
  • 1 Tbsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 Tbsp grated orange zest plus more for glaze
  • 1/2 cup 1 stick cold butter, cut into chunks

Wet Ingredients:

  • 1 large egg lightly beaten
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream + 1 Tbsp for brushing
  • 3/4 cup dried cranberries
  • 1 Tbsp raw sugar optional for topping

Glaze:

  • 2/3 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 Tbsp freshly squeezed orange juice

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a bowl, sift together flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and zest.
  • Cut in cold butter until pea-sized crumbs form.
  • Stir in cranberries. Make a well in the center.
  • Whisk egg with cream. Pour into dry mix and stir just until moistened.
