- 1 pound asparagus ends trimmed
- 1 tablespoon olive oil or avocado oil
- 1 clove garlic finely minced (optional)
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
Preheat air fryer to 370°F (190°C) for 3 minutes.
In a bowl, mix oil, garlic (optional), salt, and pepper.
Add asparagus and toss to coat.
Arrange asparagus in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
Cook for 6–9 minutes, shaking basket halfway through.
Serve with extra salt and pepper, to taste.
