Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tsp olive oil
  • 1 medium onion diced
  • 2 green bell peppers diced
  • 8 mushrooms diced
  • 4 slices provolone cheese

Instructions
 

  • Brown ground beef in a skillet over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
  • Add beef broth and Worcestershire sauce.
  • Simmer for 4–5 minutes, until most of the liquid is absorbed.
  • Season with salt and pepper. Remove beef and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, heat olive oil.
  • Sauté onion, bell peppers, and mushrooms for 5–6 minutes, until softened.

Notes

• Swap ground beef for ground turkey or chicken if preferred.
• Add red bell pepper for color or jalapeños for heat.
