For the Chicken:
- 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 3 cloves of garlic minced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1 teaspoon paprika optional
For the Vegetables:
- 1 head of broccoli cut into florets
- 2 cups fresh spinach
- 1/2 cup chicken broth or water
- 1 tablespoon butter optional
- Lemon zest optional
Cut chicken into even pieces and season with salt, pepper, and paprika.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet. Sauté garlic for 30 seconds.
Add chicken and cook 4–5 minutes per side until golden and cooked through.
Remove and set aside.
In the same skillet, add more oil or butter if needed.
Add broccoli and sauté for 2–3 minutes.
Add broth, cover, and steam for 3–4 minutes until tender-crisp.
