These flavorful Greek turkey meatballs are packed with herbs and spinach, seared until golden, and wrapped in warm flatbread with fresh veggies and creamy homemade tzatziki. A lighter take on classic gyros you’ll want to make again and again.

For Turkey Meatballs:
- 1 lb ground turkey
- ¼ cup finely diced red onion
- 2 garlic cloves minced
- 1 tsp dry oregano
- ⅓ cup chopped fresh spinach
- Salt & pepper to season
- 2 Tbsp avocado oil
For Tzatziki Sauce:
- 5 oz plain Greek yogurt
- ¼ cup grated cucumber moisture squeezed out
- 2 Tbsp lemon juice
- ½ tsp dry dill
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- Salt to taste
For Assembly:
- ½ cup thinly sliced red onion
- 1 cup diced tomato
- 1 cup diced cucumber
- 4 whole wheat flatbreads or pita
In a bowl, mix turkey, red onion, garlic, oregano, spinach, salt, and pepper.
Form into 12 1-inch meatballs.
Heat skillet over medium-high, add avocado oil, and cook meatballs 3–4 min per side until golden and cooked through (165°F internal temp). Let rest.
In a small bowl, mix yogurt, grated cucumber, lemon juice, dill, garlic powder, and salt.
Warm flatbreads. Add 3 meatballs, red onion, tomato, and cucumber to each.
