- 3 lb baby back ribs or pork loin ribs
- 6 cups apple juice
- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1/2 tsp liquid smoke optional
- 1 tbsp seasoning salt Johnny’s or Lawry’s
- 2 tbsp BBQ dry rub
- 2/3 cup sweet BBQ sauce divided
Pat ribs dry. Rub seasoning salt and BBQ dry rub on both sides.
In Instant Pot, combine apple juice, vinegar, liquid smoke, and 1/3 cup BBQ sauce.
Coil ribs inside with bone-side inward. Cook on high pressure for 25 minutes.
Natural release for 10 minutes, then quick release.
Transfer to baking sheet. Brush with remaining BBQ sauce and broil 4–5 minutes.

No Broiler? You can also finish the ribs on a grill over high heat for 2–3 minutes per side to char the glaze.
