- 3 –4 chicken breasts I used three particularly large ones
- 3 cups broccoli florets
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice about 1/2 small lemon
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped parsley and lemon slices for garnish
Heat olive oil in a skillet. Season chicken with spices and sear until golden.
Add lemon juice and cook chicken on both sides until nearly done.
Add broccoli, garlic, and chicken broth.
Simmer until broccoli is tender and chicken is cooked through.
Garnish with parsley and lemon. Serve warm.
