Ingredients
  

  • 3 –4 chicken breasts I used three particularly large ones
  • 3 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice about 1/2 small lemon
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley and lemon slices for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Heat olive oil in a skillet. Season chicken with spices and sear until golden.
  • Add lemon juice and cook chicken on both sides until nearly done.
  • Add broccoli, garlic, and chicken broth.
  • Simmer until broccoli is tender and chicken is cooked through.
  • Garnish with parsley and lemon. Serve warm.
