- 1 cup water
- 1 black tea bag or 1 tsp loose leaf black tea
- Peel of 1/2 orange save some for garnish
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 1 tsp brown sugar or to taste
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup milk or preferred milk
- Orange peel twist or orange slice for garnish
Bring water to a boil. Add orange peel and cinnamon stick; simmer 2–3 minutes.
Add tea bag and steep 3–5 minutes. Remove solids.
Stir in brown sugar and vanilla until dissolved.
Add milk and warm gently for 2–3 minutes. Do not boil.
Pour into mug and garnish with orange peel or slice. Serve warm.
