Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup water
  • 1 black tea bag or 1 tsp loose leaf black tea
  • Peel of 1/2 orange save some for garnish
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1 tsp brown sugar or to taste
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup milk or preferred milk
  • Orange peel twist or orange slice for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Bring water to a boil. Add orange peel and cinnamon stick; simmer 2–3 minutes.
  • Add tea bag and steep 3–5 minutes. Remove solids.
  • Stir in brown sugar and vanilla until dissolved.
  • Add milk and warm gently for 2–3 minutes. Do not boil.
  • Pour into mug and garnish with orange peel or slice. Serve warm.
