Ingredients
  

  • 2 pounds russet potatoes peeled and thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F and butter a baking dish.
  • Melt butter, cook garlic, stir in flour.
  • Gradually add milk, simmer until thick.
  • Remove from heat; stir in cheeses, salt, pepper.
  • Layer potatoes and sauce in dish.
