Ingredients
  

  • 1 bunch asparagus 12-16 oz, ends trimmed
  • 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
  • Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • 2 sheets frozen puff pastry thawed
  • 8 oz Gruyère cheese shredded
  • 12 slices prosciutto
  • 1 egg beaten (for egg wash)

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Toss asparagus with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  • On a floured surface, roll out puff pastry sheets and cut each into 6 squares.
  • Place a slice of prosciutto on each square, add 3-4 asparagus stalks, and sprinkle with cheese.
