  • 2/3 cup light corn syrup
  • 1 cup heavy cream divided
  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter cubed
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Flaky sea salt for topping

Instructions
 

  • Line an 8×8-inch pan with parchment paper and butter it.
  • Combine sugar, corn syrup, and half the cream.
  • Stir over medium heat.
  • Add butter and remaining cream gradually.
  • Cook without stirring to 245°F.
