- 8 oz ground sausage
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 1/2 cups frozen shredded hash browns
- 1 egg
- 2 tbsp heavy cream
- 4 slices Havarti or cheddar cheese
- 4 –6 oz cooked bacon crumbled
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Preheat oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment.
Brown sausage in skillet. Stir in flour and cook until bubbling.
Add milk and pepper to form thick gravy. Set aside.
Cook bacon and crumble.
In the same pan, crisp hash browns on both sides.
