Ingredients
  

  • 1.5 lbs flank steak
  • ¼ cup cornstarch
  • 2 Tbsp sesame oil
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ cup soy sauce
  • ¾ cup brown sugar
  • 1 onion diced
  • ¼ tsp red pepper flakes

Instructions
 

  • In a bowl, whisk all ingredients except the steak until smooth.
  • Add flank steak to slow cooker. Pour sauce over it.
  • Cook on LOW 6–8 hours or HIGH 3–4 hours.
  • Remove steak, slice or shred, return to sauce.
  • Serve hot over rice. Garnish as desired.
