- 1.5 lbs flank steak
- ¼ cup cornstarch
- 2 Tbsp sesame oil
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ cup soy sauce
- ¾ cup brown sugar
- 1 onion diced
- ¼ tsp red pepper flakes
In a bowl, whisk all ingredients except the steak until smooth.
Add flank steak to slow cooker. Pour sauce over it.
Cook on LOW 6–8 hours or HIGH 3–4 hours.
Remove steak, slice or shred, return to sauce.
Serve hot over rice. Garnish as desired.
