Cake
- 16 oz strawberries rinsed and tops removed
- 1 box white cake mix
- 3 eggs
- ¾ cup vegetable oil
- 3 oz strawberry JELL-O mix
Strawberry Frosting
- ¼ cup unsalted butter softened
- 4 oz cream cheese softened
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 3 cups powdered sugar
- ¼ cup strawberry puree
Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 9×13-inch pan.
Blend strawberries until smooth.
Set aside 1 cup for the cake and ¼ cup for the frosting.
In a bowl, mix cake mix, eggs, and oil.
Add JELL-O and 1 cup strawberry puree. Mix well.
Pour into prepared pan and bake for 30 minutes. Let cool completely.
