Ingredients
  

Cake

  • 16 oz strawberries rinsed and tops removed
  • 1 box white cake mix
  • 3 eggs
  • ¾ cup vegetable oil
  • 3 oz strawberry JELL-O mix

Strawberry Frosting

  • ¼ cup unsalted butter softened
  • 4 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 cups powdered sugar
  • ¼ cup strawberry puree

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 9×13-inch pan.
  • Blend strawberries until smooth.
  • Set aside 1 cup for the cake and ¼ cup for the frosting.
  • In a bowl, mix cake mix, eggs, and oil.
  • Add JELL-O and 1 cup strawberry puree. Mix well.
  • Pour into prepared pan and bake for 30 minutes. Let cool completely.
