These Sweet Lemon Preserves are easy, bright, and incredibly versatile. Thinly sliced lemons are layered with sugar and stored in jars to create a naturally sweet and tangy lemon syrup that’s perfect for teas, desserts, cocktails, and more.

- 8 lemons for 3 pint jars
- 2 –3 cups sugar
- 3 pint-size glass jars with lids
Wash and sterilize jars with boiling water.
Wash lemons and slice into rings or half moons.
Add ½ lemon slices to each jar, top with 3 tbsp sugar.
Continue layering lemon and sugar, pressing gently.
Fill to top with sugar, seal, and refrigerate.
Let sit 1–2 days until syrup forms. Use and enjoy!
