- 4½ cups powdered sugar
- 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
- 3 tablespoons milk
In a large bowl, beat the softened butter for 3 to 4 minutes until very pale and creamy.
Add the powdered sugar, vanilla, and milk.
Mix on low until mostly incorporated, then beat on high for another 3 to 4 minutes until light and fluffy.
